I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't reset your collection history though, that's annoying. , it looks like the audio logs are still collectible, which is the point of the original post. I've always been able to start a new solo run in MCC ODST and have the audio logs reset. Originally posted by countgrey:That's odd, because I've never encountered that issue. We're now ingame on a new campaign, shouldn't have any audio logs right? Well here we go, starting a new campaign on the mission "Prepare to drop" Therefore, on a new solo run, because you have done no missions yet, you will have no audio logs available to you until you complete said missions. However, as far as I know, the city map populates audio logs based on which missions you have done. Originally posted by IvanTheWolf:This is not true in single player mode, in MCC, you always start with your audio logs collected so far, and that progress is tied to your Xbox account in a way that makes it impossible to clear, I think it's tied to Waypoint/Halo's online services.Īlso, how would it get to the point where it is impossible to clear? By your logic you could load into one of the later levels, play through it to get back to the city map, and then wander the city collecting everything you've missed, therefore triggering the final log in the Data Hive. In co-op though, in MCC, you always start over on the collection process when starting a new campaign/new campaign session, where in OG ODST, you have to do what you described for co-op. In the original game, that is the case though, but in MCC, sadly there is no way of resetting the collection other than starting a new account for single player mode. Anyway, yeah, once you collect 1 more additional log you'll gain the achievement for it. Now if you start a new run, you won't unlock achievements again for logs 1-9, but the moment you get log 10 you'll get 1. So in other words, let's say you had 9 logs. Once you exceed the number of logs you've previously collected, you'll unlock the next obtainable achievement as well.
